چکیده
Spiegel's hernias are uncommon anomalies in the aponeurosis, which runs between rectus muscle and semilunar line. They most commonly found "Spigel's hernia belt" navel interspinal line (a horizontal connecting anterosuperior iliac spines). We recommend open repair for individuals who arrive with an acute hernia, especially if there is a risk of high-grade blockage, strangulation, intra-abdominal infection, and/or necessity bowel resection. Furthermore, may be required due to surgeon's lack expertise experience laparoscopic methods, or when laparoscopy contraindicated inability tolerate pneumoperitoneum securely access peritoneal cavity. Sutures mesh can used hernia. Given recurrence, we only do suture cases contamination implantation enhance morbidity.

BACKGROUND paraesophageal hiatal hernia represents 5-10% of hiatal hernias. Its importance is based on the severe complications it may have, including gastric volvulus, and surgical treatment is recommended when a diagnosis is established. MATERIAL AND METHODS a retrospective study of all patients who underwent surgery for paresophageal hernia between 1985 and 2007. RESULTS we studied 90 ca...
متن کاملOpen Surgery Simulation of Inguinal Hernia Repair
Inguinal hernia repair procedures are often one of the first surgical procedures faced by junior surgeons. The biggest challenge in this procedure for novice trainees is understanding the 3D spatial relations of the complex anatomy of the inguinal region, which is crucial for the effective and careful handling of the present anatomical structures in order to perform a successful and lasting rep...
متن کاملPediatric Inguinal Hernia: Laparoscopic Versus Open Surgery
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Herniotomy/open surgery (OS) has been the time honored treatment for pediatric inguinal hernia (PIH). Laparoscopic surgery (LS) has recently emerged as an alternative in its management. However, controversy is rife on its feasibility and wider adoption. The present need is to know whether a significant difference exists in the surgical outcomes following either techniq...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Colon Surgery for Benign Disease: A Comparison to Open Surgery
Backgrounds and Objectives: Today we are witnessed a growing number of minimally invasive surgical techniques for different diseases. Laparoscopic colon surgery as a minimally invasive surgery is currently growing in treatment of malignancies after proving his place in the treatment of benign diseases. We compare in this study results of laparoscopic colorectal surgery with open surgery. Method...
متن کاملOpen components separation and underlay repair using biological mesh for the treatment of planned ventral hernia after open abdomen surgery
Objective: There are no standard surgical methods for planned ventral hernia (PVH). This paper discusses the possibility of using “open components separation + underlay repair using biological mesh” as a preferred surgical method for PVH. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of PVH patients who received open components separation and underlay repair using biological mesh. Resu...
